What does “embracing the gray” mean to me?

This blog started as a way for me to cope with my decision to let my hair gray hair shine through.  As you will read in the early posts it was tough, but there is so much more I learned along the way.  The most important part of letting my gray out is the realization of who I have become and how wonderful that all is despite the flaws.  As my hair has grayed (either hidden or in the open) I have been a daughter, a sister, a friend, a dental hygienist, a wife, a mother, a mechanical engineer, an automotive engineer, a single mom, a wife again, an executive … and who knows what is next.  I have had many adventures, challenges, wonders, and sadness but most importantly I have embraced not only they gray but me – with all the qualities both favorable or not that make me uniquely me.  I have learned that I am still evolving and becoming more me than the day before.  Thank you for letting me share with you, I hope you leave some comments.
